LAST WEEK: Trump-endorsed Republican NC Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson said, "Some folks need killing" and Kevin Roberts, the head of the Heritage Foundation, said, "We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be," a violent threat.

YESTERDAY: A 20-year-old registered Republican shot at Trump and killed a bystander.

There is one party that has consistently endorsed political violence, and it's not Democrats.

"Some folks need killing!": People must take MAGA threats of violence literally and seriously

A leader of Project 2025 declares the authoritarian "revolution" will be "bloodless" only "if the left allows it"

@fraying
"The" Heritage Foundation... More like the *colonizing, land stealing, slave owning* heritage
@fraying When was the last time a white Christian nationalist public school teacher was outed, doxxed, falsely accused of child molestation, and dogpiled by various left wing groups with close ties to the Democratic Party, resulting in multiple bomb threats and lockdowns at their school district in a terroristic effort to get them fired and banished from public life?
@fraying Apparently one loony listened to another about “what some folks need.”
@fraying This is the key difference. We endorse punching Nazis, not assassinating them. We prefer non-violent problem solving where possible, and non-deadly physical intervention when needs must.

@fraying It was Joe Biden who said on a donor call that it was time to "put Trump in a bullseye." Someone must have taken him literally.

Seriously, a lot of people use war type metaphors for politics. And they should stop, because it sounds really bad when something like this happens.

@fraying and Republicans say we’re not to speak of Trump being a threat to our Democracy…I don’t think so! The RNC’s platform, Project 2025 is our threat and so is Trump!
