Martine NyxAs a woman who’s lived in the U.S. for six years from the year 2015 to the year 2021 and graduated from a U.S. college where, among other things, she studied International Politics, there is nothing I find more amusingly sexist than a non-American man feeling the need to mansplain American politics to me whilst having zero knowledge of American society whatsoever and in fact having never even visited the United States in their entire life.
Before you even ask: yes, that applies to Russian politics as well, because the expertise of a woman who has actually lived in Russia, studied in Russia, and speaks Russian fluently cannot possibly compare to that of a non-Russian man who’s never been to Russia and doesn’t speak a word of Russian and wouldn’t even be able to tell you what revolution happened when and for what reason.
At this point I’m just waiting for a man to explain the complexity of Italian politics and society to me 🤔
