I would love to know the details of your insulation...
Did you have a trad. mummy bag or some sort of under/over quilt system?
@richardrathe I used top and bottom quilts from Hammock Gear. In order to stack the bottom ones properly I added 1 inch of shock cord to each end of the outer suspension to prevent the outer quilt from compressing the inner one.
I think this implies two bottom quilts (to avoid compression)?

@richardrathe My bad, that was unclear, yes. The weather forecast low was 15F but my warmest quilts are good down to 20F. So I stacked a 40 on the outside.
Ah! Good to have extra on a cold night.
Thanks for the reference btw. Checked out the HG site and the whole setup makes much more sense now.
I assume you wear a hat since the over-quilts don’t appear to come up to cover the head?
