Camping-Boom in Sachsen: Hier kann man günstig Urlaub machen

Interessant ist, dass das Angebot an Campingplätzen in Sachsen nur geringfügig gewachsen ist. Im Jahr 2015 gab es 104 erfasste Campinganlagen, während es 2025 lediglich 107 sind. Diese Zahlen beziehen sich auf Plätze mit mindestens zehn Stellplätzen. Zusätzlich existieren rund 150 Wohnmobilstellplätze im Freistaat, die das Angebot abrunden. Just returned from a ski tour through western Jämtland. Started from from Storulvån and did a loop of nearly 100km past Sylarna, Helags, Vålådalen and back. Partially off trail. Conditions were ok‘ish. Quite stormy at times. Not a lot of snow and lots of ice.

Brisk and very cold morning at our campsite overlooking Pältsän. One of the coldest mornings we’ve had on this hike. Too bad we made the mistake of bringing indoor-only thermometers that only went down to -15C, so I can’t tell the exact temp. But it was at least -15!

🇱🇹 Litauen im tiefsten Winter – unser erster Stopp führt uns zum beeindruckenden Berg der Kreuze bei Šiauliai. Über 100.000 Kreuze, bewegende Geschichte aus der Sowjetzeit und eine Atmosphäre, die man kaum in Worte fassen kann.

Doch der Winter wird immer extremer: vereiste Scheibenwischer, verschneite Offroad-Strecken und angekündigte -30 Grad zwingen uns zur Planänderung.

Been out skiing (cross country) with my gang and had a blast. We went to Gyllbergen and slept two nights outdoors. Well, most slept in one of the cabins but I opted for my hammock. Good times!

But now everything hurts. Slept ten hours straight. 😅
