ArtéanJust finished the #Riven Remake. I have to say, apart from weird lighting and animations on some characters (that can hopefully be fixed in later updates), they absolutely nailed it. It's beautiful, the adaptations made for 3D and VR are very consistent, and there are a lot of new surprises and narrative details!
Also, it's more accessible to newcomers and people who couldn't finish it in '97 (I myself used the Prima strategy guide cuz' I was very young ^^).
The hardest puzzles have been made clearer, BUT they also added little bits of frictions and difficulty in other areas that used to be simpler, in order to end up with a more "leveled" experience.
