I can't feel most of my face. Am really woozy. Unable to talk & am communicating by hand signals for now. Mouth is quite bloody inside & I'm keeping it closed for rest of day, except for when doing saltwater & antiseptic rinses, taking meds & when eating soft foods. Got some ice packs ready to put on both sides of my face to help keep swelling down. Hopefully, won't have too many blood clots in early days of recovery - it's normal to get a couple, for major extractions.

Denturist appointment is tomorrow morning, follow up & dentures adjustments.

I went through 2 masks on the 15 minute ride home earlier. Both got bloodied up, pretty quickly.

I've done 2 salt water rinses. Bleeding hasn't fully stopped yet but it's gone down since leaving dentist office.

Feeling very hungry because I'd puked up almost all the foods I tried to eat for breakfast due to high anxiety. Eating 2 pouches of baby food, as soon as freezing goes down & I can feel my face/mouth again.

I ate 2 baby food packages. Am still quite hungry & tummy is growling for more food. Going to try eating cooled down plain rice congee with smooshed up fermented bean curd.

While waiting for congee to cook, put more ice chips in my mouth & attached soft icepack to lower face with a soft headband. The icepack makes my face/jaw feel less sore, very soothing.

Asher was really fab at comforting me, late last night. When I woke up the first time in pain & cried a little bit before pain meds kicked in again. He laid on my chest & provided his heavy purring therapy ❤️
