I don't have enough energy to even talk much with my Mom or brother today. I'm focused on not losing weight while fighting to get back up. 5 years ago, I lost a lot of weight during the worst depression spell & ended up in ER on IVs for a week.

Day 6:
The nausea returned again in morning. I took 2 Gravol Ginger tablets. I'm going to be so happy when I have no more nausea daily & able to eat without taking Gravol first. I'm trying to remain in good spirits. It's difficult when I don't feel well & am nauseous daily. I can't help but feel upset sometimes...it passes..when the nausea stops.
Day 5, dinner:
2 soft boiled eggs - finely minced.
Broccoli & cauliflower, beef broth congee(no pic, will update later)
Buttered mashed potatoes with gravy.
Orange electrolytes drink (no pic)
Cat nurse is very steadfast in support 💗 Asher knows I'm quite unwell atm & sticking close.

Attached: 2 images I had dry heaved & then passed out. My brother has returned home & went to buy me Gravol Ginger tablets. I took 2. Hoping they'll stop the nausea so I can eat today. I'm quite weak from not getting the daily nourishment that my body is used to. Prior to final dental extractions & getting immediate dentures put in, I was eating 3 big meals daily & snacking through out the day. I've lost 2 pounds since last Wednesday; 75 lbs on the scale this morning. Asher has been comforting & entertaining me 💗 I'm going back to sleep now.
We are not getting out of bed. My bladder woke me before 5am; I need more sleep time. I took my antibiotics & drank a bottle of strawberry Ensure nutritional supplement. Did saltwater & antiseptic mouthwash rinses. No pain in my mouth; just throbbing feeling & some soreness because swollen areas are still slowly healing up.

Day 3. Gums & dentures recovery update.
Had to leave voice-mail for my dentist. Woke up in searing pain, on both upper/lower on right side of mouth. The swelling in that area went up hella fast overnight - spreading past jawline & into my neck for lower area; its closing up right nostril for upper swelling. I'm having problems breathing properly & back to just liquid food this morning because lower swelling has affected my swallowing.
I'm feeling grumpy due to the pain & new difficulties related to fast swelling areas, described above. First mouth sore has developed on upper left side of mouth. I have a special medicated rinse for that👍
I'm happy about my pureed food & liquids this morning. Made by a friend nearby. #IndianFood. Tomato soup & salt lassi. First time having salt lassi - it's a yogurt based drink, with cumin, black salt & mint.

Asher was really fab at comforting me, late last night. When I woke up the first time in pain & cried a little bit before pain meds kicked in again. He laid on my chest & provided his heavy purring therapy ❤️

The whole family is still in recovery-mode from the horrific feverish cold/flu/who-knows-what that ripped through our house this week...but oh, is it soothing to have a soft, warm cat sleeping against my legs as I rest and recover!
