Clearly, Premier Ford has no plan or intent to save the #Ontario Science Centre. Ford's Conservative govt say they're scouting for a “temporary” site with approx 50 -100 sq ft of display space to replace the closed museum. (Science Centre’s Building “C” with very minor roof issues covers 285,000 sq ft)

Taking bets that #DougFord installs a 'pop-up' Science Centre in his family-friend-owned Congress Centre on Dixon Road in Etobicoke. 😈

Remember a few years ago when #DougFord began illegally destroying the heritage Foundry buildings in #Toronto? "Since then there’s been no communication or public tender for the site. Instead the Ontario Conservative govt quietly sold the public land to a De Gasperis-owned company."

@AlisonCreekside After #DougFord took office the provincially owned OPG sold the landmark Hearn Generating station on #Toronto's waterfront to developer & longtime PC donor Mario Cortellucci for a mere $16 million.
Ford govt said "contaminated soil" justified the bargain-basement pricing.
However, OPG sold a similar site on Mississauga's waterfront for $275M even though the land was also contaminated.
Hearn is a heritage site; the City was not consulted or offered a chance to buy it.
