@patrickleavy @shanecelis Yeah, Google definitely spies through Android.
And unless you only use Linux apps on Chrome OS, you're basically either using Android (Google is watching) or web apps (Google is definitely watching).
Canonical:
@shanecelis windows: search box sends to msft whatever you write in there, file manager keeps files history and sends it to msft, windows defender knows what software you are using and sends that data to msft, settings apps know everything about your device and send that to msft
Google mobile servies do the same, but they also have access to activity inside of apps that use these services
MacOS and iOS are the same.
