Here’s the fun thing about watching this movie with a first-timer who knows nothing about Sean Connery’s film career — for the first half of the movie Ramius seems like a Soviet madman who might be going rogue.

@tvaziri Yeah That! 👍 Watching with people who don’t know it (as opposed to those who do who love it) showcases how well they managed that uncertainty while letting you fully accept the ultimate outcome. Underrated (despite being widely liked) film indeed.
