In most cats, ears back/eyes wide means Frightened/Warning.

My weirdo does this while kneading the pink blanket, staring at me, purring loudly.

Maybe it's a veiled threat.. what crimes is she contemplating?

@mrkeen omg I do NOT want to know what she'd be like on catnip. I doubt my household (or the world??) would survive the experience. She's already a tornado of high energy chaos, cat-astrophe and crime without it.
