Dominic :emoji_wink:@brianhough @markgurman what a dumb take. I can easily imagine a scenario where EU forces app to allow third party AI providers which would then open up everyone’s personal information to any AI company that wants to build an AI assistant on iOS.
@dominic @markgurman If that is mandated, it would only open up the data of those who choose the third party service instead of Apple’s. I think that’s perfectly reasonable - why not let users choose, if that’s what is required to launch this feature set there?

@dominic @markgurman Idk man, it seems like the worse advice is stripping your most popular products of key features people expect due to relatively minor implementation details.
Imagine if Apple took this tact with other facets of the OS - it just stripped out Safari support from iOS because they have to give users the choice of other browsers. That’d be patently ridiculous - just like this.
