Otherwise, you have to assume rich-boy Bezos is so desperate for a money-maker that he needs to churn WaPo into a tabloid--and do that a few months before an election. Might be true, alas. Or he might be a Trumpie. Who knows?
I'd say, keep up the drumbeat of criticism. Make it hurt. Make it clear this isn't going away.
@marksquires bezos doesn't need money on journalism scale. He'll let it lose as much as he wants as long as it pushes his narrative.
He wants effective propaganda. That means people have to trust it.
That's the only reason he left it alone, mostly, when he bought it. Too obvious.
Oligarchs play the long game though. They know people can't maintain vigilance, and they know they can normalize eating shit if they just slowly ratchet the shit level in what they give us.

@jeffjarvis @sennoma A responsible owner doesn't allow their lowly paid workers to be backed into peeing in bottles and shitting in yards, using their heft and price control to create monopolies, all while performing a $10 billion stock buyback this year.
Every billionare is a blight to start with, and Amazon has been a force for decrepitude on top of it. Knockoffs are rampant, and independent shops are paid poorly for their own work and products. In addition to widespread acknowledgement of this, I've experienced both of these myself.
Amazon sucks. Bezos is a taint.
