Yesterday was a cast-on party, after 8 months spent knitting my Shetland cardigan.

Second project started. Using single balls of Shetland yarn, with Ouessant wool, to experiment with the Paul Klee Sweater. As it happens, it resembles his painting ‘Blue Night’ (1937).

Left: yoke following the Paul Klee Sweater pattern (Midori Hirose)

Right: yoke following the Peeta pattern (Nadia Crétin-Léchenne)

Edit: Midori Hirose's pattern calls for a higher neckline, so the loose neckline is partly my fault. The construction of a jumper with a yoke is complicated, in order to avoid an impractical jumper and unintentional penguin arms.
