MeganLast night, we wrapped up the last session of Elysium Rise, the Revolution-on-Mars game I’ve been running since February. It all came down to a negotiation/trap with the head of the military as the done he controlled was having trouble with air and water. In the ensuing firefight, one character sacrificed his life to take down the general. There was a tearful funeral, much planning for the future, and bioluminescent bunnies.
That game was messy at times, but I’m pretty proud of it. My players really brought it.
Now I get to thankfully slip back into the ranks of the players as we start to brainstorm about a 1940s Hollywood/detective film noir/Red Scare game…with some supernatural. I’m so excited.
