Talking 20+ years ago, boss insisted we wore a suit.. Even us techs going out on site installing cabling or rooting about under desks. I wore out so many trousers.. He eventually relented and provided branded polo shirts and let us wear jeans. Much more practical, but I did notice a distinct drop in the level of respect we got when arriving at a customers premises. (apart from those who knew us well)

Al@nixCraft Office is a cabin in the garden. Dress code is shorts and teeshirt. Hoodie and slippers allowed in the winter.
