If that would be charged in #Germany, you'd see riots if not a civil war and landlords being lynched in public...

I've seen so many videos shot by landlords that are proud of their offering when it's a 35m² 5th floor walk up that is asking "only $3800 per month" in a dodgy area of Manhattan.

For a country that prides itself on innovation and problem solving, there's a lot of shrugging and saying "well, what can you do?"
