Had this paddle for about 6 months and it's let me down now a couple of times - misses dits and dahs. I’ve burnished the contacts but it only fixes the problem for a short period. I have a (now discontinued) Palm Pico which I love but I’d like a backup for #POTA and #WWFF work. Any recommendations?
@vk2di I’ve been using https://www.radioadventuregear.de/Morse-Code-Keys/-paddle-grey::3.html, a bit of flex in the paddles but has been a solid key for the last year and is very light

@vk2di

Have you checked the wire and wire connections for any intermittency? That's what I would check next if burnishing the contacts provides limited benefit.

Don't just visually inspect, get out the VOM and perform continutiy checks, flexing the wire every which way to tease out any intermittency.

@kilroy_was_here pretty sure it’s a contact problem - if I press a little harder on the paddle it starts ditting. Maker is sending me a replacement.

@vk2di

Good to hear, hope it works.
