Adobe's ToS changes could be an AI overreach on user data

A new and mandatory terms of service approval for Adobe Creative Cloud requires users agree to the company getting free access to users' projects, for whatever they want to do with it. That's unacceptable.

@Em0nM4stodon @ XdanielArt put together this great list of Adobe alternatives. Some are free and some are not. I have not used them and can't vouch for the quality, but I'm sure each has reviews online.

@jamesmarshall @Em0nM4stodon I can personally vouch for DaVinci resolve.

23 years of editing and is one of my favorite NLE programs to work with .

also it works on Linux not just Mac OS And Windows

Big Davinci fan here too. Has been a huge part of our success in switching from stills to video.

@ewen @jamesmarshall @Em0nM4stodon I spend 17 years of my life on FCP. Did not want to learn FCPX.
And when I saw the path that adobe was going down last decade I decided to find a new program that would work on all three major operating systems so I wouldn't paint myself into a corner..

It took a few weeks of getting used to the new workflow versus Final Cut 7 .. but after that is was amazing.
