If you feel disheartened by Adobe's news today 😔💔

I know change can be hard but
I would love to point you to a couple of great alternatives you will get used to in no time:

Replace Photoshop with -> @Krita 🖌️

Replace Illustrator with -> @inkscape 🖋️

Why? Because of this: https://appleinsider.com/articles/24/06/06/adobes-new-terms-of-service-unacceptably-gives-them-access-to-all-of-your-projects-for-free

If you know any other great
Adobe software replacements,
please list them below to help others 👇

Adobe's ToS changes could be an AI overreach on user data

A new and mandatory terms of service approval for Adobe Creative Cloud requires users agree to the company getting free access to users' projects, for whatever they want to do with it. That's unacceptable.

Thank you for the Krita link!
Would you know of an alternative to a PDF editor - there are plenty - but one that can do the same as Adobe Acrobat X Pro: add Watermark and also digitally sign a pdf document? W/o using a cloud based app.
@captain @Em0nM4stodon @Krita @inkscape I could also use a recommendation for a good PDF editor. I need to use one occasionally in my professional life as a biz editor, and for many years (like 15) I’ve been making do with the standalone Adobe 9 Pro.
@PamelaBarroway @captain @Em0nM4stodon @Krita @inkscape What I would love to find is a PDF editor that will allow you to redact portions of a multiple-page file as easily as Acrobat does.
@jmccyoung @captain @Em0nM4stodon @Krita @inkscape Absolutely — great point! Anyone know of such a PDF editor?
@jmccyoung @PamelaBarroway @captain @Em0nM4stodon @Krita @inkscape After decades of reliance on Acrobat, I cancelled my small business account on Friday. I do not yet have a replacement. A peer recommended Nitro.
@Onlineadviser @PamelaBarroway @captain @Em0nM4stodon @Krita @inkscape Thank you for the tip! It doesn't look like redaction is one of its features but it's still an attractive option. What I've done for short files is to convert to an image file format using the GIMP or the like and then draw a box around what I want redacted and fill it. It's not too bad for a page or three but more? It's a nuisance.
