And as night follows day! The BBC election coverage on the app is a photo of #Farage shouting about immigration.

It is #Brexit all over again. A man who has failed seven times to be an MP is getting all the attention. A man who told cracking lies to get the English electorate to vote against their best interests in 2016.

He is toxic & vile. He isn't in this for your benefit. But he gets all the attention for man who has failed every time he has stood. We need a 🐬 to save us

#goawayfarage

As a place apart Northern Ireland never really features in the election campaign on the big island. I have all but given up on their dismal campaign.

What I will say is you don't see the English parties going after Sinn FΓ©in for reunification the way they go after the SNP for independence!

Are we both not equal parts of this union they don't want to lose??

However with Jim/TUV hitching himself to Reform NI we need to start paying attention. Jim needs to be asked some very tough questions.

@jacqui76 they don't turn up to their elected positions and don't reply to constituents at least they have never replied to me, that coupled with a lack of MEPs despite European law application creates a vacuum of democracy and I say this as no fan of TUV but they did reply and help with a previous query when no one else would, including SDLP. SNP is one step ahead of SF.
@jacqui76 I think you have hit on the answer. Reunification is far less of an issue that Scottish Independence on the big island. It seems inevitable and relatively straightforward. Scotland like Catalonia have got a fixated idea that Independence, getting back control etc (where did I hear that phrase before) is dead simple and bound to benefit Scotland. Yet Scots (and NI and Wales) have more control over what goes on in their country than the English
@jacqui76 Could it be that (AFAIK) Labour & Tories don't stand in NI?
@B31Bowden @jacqui76 Labour don’t, the Tories do, after a fashion, in a very half-hearted way, only in a few constituencies, and with zero chance of success.

@Nickiquote @B31Bowden

Spot on about the Tories - they have never got near 1% of the vote share in NI. It is nothing more than a token gesture.

Labour is affiliated to the SDLP in NI, which is a Nationalist party, so there is absolute no way Jim would look for a pact/coalition with the Labour Party.

This isn't about a serious political way forward, this is about Jim destroying the DUP.

Reform are the right type of obnoxious pricks to help him in that!
