Daniel Gauthier@anthonyvardiz @upahead will let the TestFlight simmer for a few days, but if everything’s looking stable, it shouldn’t be too long. Factoring in some unpredictability with app review and whatnot, I’d guess a couple weeks

@danielmgauthier @upahead a few things, at least for now:
One, can the Lock Screen widgets filter by tags?
Two, can you make it so you can set tags with Shortcuts?
Three, can we get a Find action in Shortcuts that uses what I think is called an EntityPropertyQuery? It’s the thing that allows a bunch of filters to find items.
@danielmgauthier @upahead one, part two: can all widgets filter by tags?
1. I believe this should already be working; you may have to delete and re-add a lock screen widget to get the option to show up, because widgets are weird. I've also now added tag filtering to the grid widgets as well, so look for that in the next build.
2. Yes! Think that was an oversight.
3. I want to make some big improvements to my Shortcuts/Intents support, but I'm going to have to do some behind the scenes work first to get there. Hopefully this summer.

2. Awesome! I creat all of my Up Ahead events with shortcuts (because then I can automatically keep themes and colors and icons consistent, as well as pull in data from other sources to automagically create events) so this’ll be a great addition to that!

@bradr3d @upahead Super interesting that you use Up Ahead shortcuts so heavily. I am not much of a Shortcuts guy for whatever reason, so I may pick your brain a bit more on this once I get going on improving this stuff — I know you've had a few other Shortcuts-related suggestions in the past that I haven't gotten around to!
@danielmgauthier @upahead feel free to do so! I love Shortcuts and all of the things they can do. One of the 8 buttons on my Action Button is a menu just for my Up Ahead actions.
@danielmgauthier @upahead Random extra thought that I forgot because I'm so used to avoiding it: inconsistently, when I'm adding events to Up Ahead repeatedly (say, iterating through a list of TV episodes or something), the action will error out and say the app isn't responding, but if I add a wait 1 second at the end of each loop it seems to fix it. I can send a sample shortcut that triggers it, if that's helpful.
@danielmgauthier @upahead after a few days it seems like in the recent betas the shortcuts actions have become unreliable, I just ran a shortcut to add a game 3 times and the event isn’t in the app once. Anything I can do to help?

While I’m on it, there’s another issue I’ve been running into. This shortcut, for seemingly no reason, asks for permission to share the Episodes objects from Sequel to Up Ahead, and that’s not a thing I’m trying to do, it repeatedly asks even if I say Always Allow: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/19111572e953459c88822dfb11f1e0dd

@bradr3d awesome, thank you! Just tried and was quickly able to replicate it, so prooobably some dumb last minute bug I introduced, and probably an easy fix. Will investigate more asap and get an update out soon.
That permissions thing is quite weird, not sure off-hand if that would be caused by something happening on the Up Ahead side, but I’ll try to learn more. Paging @rlfb in case you know anything about this!

@bradr3d Can you give this build a try and see if it gets that shortcut working properly again? I'm also curious if it helps with the issue you mentioned where you need to add delays to avoid the app timing out. Not confident on either front though — this is a bit of an experiment. One feature request for the widgets would be to have a “Tag is not” filter e.g. to be able to make a personal-focused widget for everything excluding a “Work” tag.
