Ride of the Fancy Women, YEGIn 2023, 150 women gathered to ride through the city of Edmonton, wearing heels, flowers, hats, lace, velvet --whatever made them feel fabulous-- to advocate for more, better, safer infrastructure that makes women feel welcome to use their bicycles for daily transportation. Wildfire smoke blanketed the city, a tangible reminder of the environmental urgency of their message.
