I just experienced linoleum related time distortion. Where did the hours go?

@RussSharek I don’t think it’s the linoleum, it’s the printmaking in general. I have the same thing happen when I am setting type.

@washboardpress

I sculpt as well, and I don't seem to lose time in the same way. Fascinating that it seems to be printmaking specific.

Alao, friends tell me it happens to them juggling. Never did for me, except possibly contact juggling.

How did you get into type?

@RussSharek I’m not yet a good enough juggler to know if I can get into that state. I’ll have to ask some of my juggling friends.

Type kind of found me. A little press followed me home one day and I adopted it and then it found more friends and I adopted them too.

@washboardpress

I'm having a similar exploration with lino. I'm just a month or so in and am at the "enjoying being bad at a thing" stage.

Handstands are my example of the shortest possible meditation. They are one of the things that keep me well.

@RussSharek I’m maybe three years into being bad at juggling, still enjoying the heck out of it, and I love hanging out with jugglers because they are always trying new ridiculous things and bringing others along for the ride.

I’m also a lot less bad at juggling than I used to be!

@washboardpress

Skilled play with skilled players who play well together is always a treat.

@washboardpress

I miss having our clown lab, because of that little bit of organized chaos that got us trying new things.

Looking forward to reinventing that here.
