@JustinDerrick @Gegenwind Over here in Germany, people are always raging on about a so-called "climate dictatorship", referring to politicians trying to do even the slightest bit to save us.
I tend to reply with "Oh you just wait for the *real* climate dictatorship. You know, when it's not politicians, but physics that makes the rules."

@Gegenwind did not enjoy hitting 49°C. I worked outside during this event. My boss told me I could take the week off but since I was hourly it would have been without pay so I just started at 03:00 and went until it got to 40°C.
This was the deadliest natural disaster in Canadian and Washington State history. June 2021. Iām sure we will repeat it again someday. It was obscene watching trees slowly die in the weeks following.
