I tend to reply with "Oh you just wait for the *real* climate dictatorship. You know, when it's not politicians, but physics that makes the rules."
ā¦ hasn't helped so far.
@jssfr @Gegenwind Yup, what I canāt understand is that the people who have the mostā¦. Have the most to lose. Floods, fires, stormsā¦. They donāt care how nice your house is or how rich you are when itās your turn to be in the path of destruction.

@Gegenwind did not enjoy hitting 49Ā°C. I worked outside during this event. My boss told me I could take the week off but since I was hourly it would have been without pay so I just started at 03:00 and went until it got to 40Ā°C.
This was the deadliest natural disaster in Canadian and Washington State history. June 2021. Iām sure we will repeat it again someday. It was obscene watching trees slowly die in the weeks following.
