Dr. Drang@sanguish @Cdespinosa @cabel @pixel It was what engineers all over used back then. Half a continent away, pretty much all of my classmates did their homework on those pads. I still have have notes on that paper from the early 80s, and they haven’t yellowed yet.

Christian Keefer-Moomaw@sanguish You can still find quite similar pads from other vendors. We used them extensively in my engineering undergraduate courses which were less than a decade ago.

Ben Rosengart@Cdespinosa @pixel Incredible. Yes, it was the computer typewriter font that was the biggest red flag for me. Whole generations don’t know that you’d feed a printed thing into a typewriter to type the custom bit on top of it — and it shows at times like this 😌
