Israel has from the outset of this genocide sought to reframe things in its favour, which as we've seen they've actually done quite successfully.
They've normalised to an extent, in some important senses, the very concept of genocide

@Shivviness @davidho this is absolutely true. A glaring example is the intentional targeting and destruction of all health care services and providers. Hospitals, clinics, ambulances. Never have I heard of this done so liberally.

Governments around the world are taking careful note of what Israel and the US are currently getting away with and likely thinking to themselves, "we, too, could push the envelope in terms of how much we take from and encroach upon the rights of the public"
