Avatar: A black and white picture of Katharine Hepburn starring in the 1936 movie "Mary of Scotland".
Background: A painting called "The Great Day of His Wrath" by John Martin, which depicts an end of the world scene, featuring what appears to be two large land masses being torn apart, with a dark abyss leading up to fire and magma

It's not and never has been a "voluntary" Union. It's been good ole, heavily sanitised, colonialism by England over its neighbours, always

I'm Gen X.
I've recognised the assorted problems with the system since about 17, e.g. the ecocidality and unfairness of it all, and it's a crushing thing to understand.
Boomers systemically loaded the system in their favour against younger generations when I was young, and my generation have conspired with Boomers to further exploit today's young.
Every new generation seems to become more enslaved to a tiny elite, mainly older caste than the generation before. Do you ever notice that?
I don't like commenting on other people's appearances, but Trump looks unhinged with that much makeup on. The orange contrasts so sharply with the white around his eyes and scalp
I had a vegan dragon roll for lunch today. It really was delicious
I massively got shouted at by the female truck driver
Is it a bad sign that my preferred "ethical" companies have utterly price gouged me like the rest of them (these past five years in particular)?
I would be so angry as a young person *gestures to sh*tshow older generations have left them*
I've always liked this truck I got a picture of whilst I was at Burning Man
Something smells off about this confirmation by the Usdaw union that his family's business pay "all staff" above real living wage

Union says Anas Sarwar family's firm pays above real living wage

The Scottish Labour leader was earlier accused of hypocrisy after saying not all staff at the business currently received the rate.
