btw, unlocking this tablet is such a painful experience, as you will need to have an one month old xiaomi account, then use a windows pc to use their official app, and wait for a week or two weeks, but, the final result it's very nice to use :DD

sungsphinx@panpantepan If only my mobile data (& wifi) experience was stable and Pipewire wasn't quiet as hell, then I could probably use linux on mobile, for now I have to stick with android 😔

@panpantepan I've tried using the OP6 again, and I still have the same experience with mobile data, it stays connected for a while (usually a few hours) but then it decides to disconnect and not reconnect unless I go to settings, turn off and turn back on mobile network, not really sure if it is to do with sleep as well. I'm trying to use it as a daily driver, but right now I just can't :[

@sungsphinx then probably is that, i have it disabled cause it doesnt work reliable in op6, the calls or sms doesnt wake up the phone

@panpantepan haven't really used my phone today, but it still has a mobile data connection (after a few hours), yesterday it worked pretty good too. One of the main blockers now is that a few apps on my android phone don't have linux versions (mainly chat apps), otherwise it's gone pretty well.
@sungsphinx which chat apps? you could use matrix bridges (beeper use that, so you could give a look at it)

@thibaultmol hmm, it is up to your needs, and if you are using gnome with mobile patches, im sure that i will make something like that in the future!

@robot that's something i don't really know, when i installed gnome mobile the clock was on the left, hmm, i would need to check that

@panpantepan I have this tablet too (Mi pad 5) once it goes EOL I'd wanna get GNOME in it (though idk if it will support stylus and whether or not the hardware support will get better by then (it's already pretty good))
