In 2017, #Dmitry_Vedernikov was sentenced to 24 years in prison. He has 14 grave and especially grave crimes, including 11 murders. He was also the leader of the #Mecenatovskie criminal group, #RosSMI reported.

ℹ️ The “#Metsenenatovskie” group got its name because of its unique headquarters - the “#Metsenat” cafe in #Chita. Local media call it the “power wing” of the larger #Chita organized crime group “#Osinovskie”.
This group, among other things, was involved in car thefts and extorting money from car owners for their return.
It operated in #Transbaikalia from the early 1990s until 2010. The investigation suspected the group of fourteen murders and four unsuccessful attempts. For special operations, the gang created a detachment of professional killers from among former boxers and martial artists, which numbered up to fifty fighters.
