A derailment of 29 carriages of a freight train carrying coal occurred at the 7759th kilometre of the #Trans_Baikal Railway in the #Amur Region.

The reasons for the train derailment are unknown. One of the versions is that the driver was speeding. There were no injuries, train traffic was suspended, and long-distance trains were delayed.

A fire started in the forest near the train crash site.
