CecilBothwell@RSPB Actually No Mow May has been discredited. Better to mow selectively, leaving patches of wildflowers here and there, rather than no-mow and then slaughter it all in June.

PaulFromChicago@RSPB The issue is habitat and pesticides, not mowing. Build habitat and then don't kill the bugs that use it.
Christopher Walker@RSPB HOA insists on the former, but I always start the season with the latter until they get threatening. Bees need dandelions!
