The International Red Cross movement has decided not to suspend membership of the Russian Red Cross (#RRC), despite potential breaches of neutrality regulations brought to light by an investigation by a group of international media outlets, including the Guardian.

Research showed what appeared to be numerous violations of the Red Cross charter by the Russian organisation since the launch of the full-scale invasion of #Ukraine in February 2022.

@hanse_mina Yet I paint an internet spaceship with a red cross in 2003 for the game "Freelancer" and get a very nasty letter... Terrible decision by the red cross.

red cross is brain-dead for me. if there's one thing i will never forgive an organization for, it's passive but inherent (i call it latent because it tends to remain unnoticed in peaceful times) support for #fascism.

i know red cross is not a single body, but those details don't bother me, sorry.

i will never donate anything to #redcross.
