The new boiler in this house I’m visiting still has the temperature set at 74 degrees. I’ve already told them months ago that they’re wasting money. Should I tell them again? #spidersense #energywaste
@sellathechemist should be above 60 in any case to prevent biological buildup no?
@doc You mean legionella? This is the heating flow temperature.
@doc and you can pulse the temperature in you storage cylinder every couple of weeks to deal with it.

@gnaddrig @doc They took it down to 65… it's a start, I suppose. You could see the boiler from the outside from thermal photos, which i thought was rather striking.
@sellathechemist Mine is set to 60° & room thermostat to 18°. If I feel cold I wear a thicker jumper
@TeenyannB Bet you can turn it down to 50… I used to run mine at about 45. The cooler it is, the more you condense.
