I was a big fan when I was a teen. I rarely listen to the Moody Blues these days, but once or twice a year have the urge to hear this one, the previous or "To Our Children's Children's Children". They are all elaborate and very detailed albums.
I never made the Pinder-Bowie connection before, though. Amusing.
And you have a good point. "Balanced" is a good adjective for their music. They were true team players during this particular epoch of their existence.

The different members usually sang the songs they wrote. You probably got that, though. :)
The two Pinder songs are Lost in a Lost World and When I'm a Free Man Again. Both wonderful, in my opinion. Check out "My Song" from Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, as well.
I assume the whole band had a hand in the arrangements of every piece.
