Recently one of my family members (whom I love very much) thought it was trash and threw it away. So if you or someone you know has an undersea cable to spare, I would love to buy it!

@annierau I don’t have any to spare but pieces of the first transatlantic telegraph cable pop up pretty often on eBay and are sometimes surprisingly cheap!

I failed to acquire one of those CIA wiki shovels, maybe I am lucky this time.
