So this may sound naive ... but we could help fight Facebook simply by saying "STOP"!

I'll explain: Under European law, we have the right to demand that Facebook stop using our personal #data for "direct marketing purposes" -- think of highly #PersonalisedAds and recommendations. And the #law also says that Facebook can't charge us extra to exercise that right. Serious violations of data protection law could cost Facebook billions -- but #authorities need evidence to act.
