Time to do the deed. I am trying natto. For non-weebs it is a type of fermented soybean and is noted for being "interesting."

Not what I expected. Okay especially with some viniger and mustard. I'll try it with rice for breakfast once my rice finishs cooking. The contrast sounds good.

@NaraMoore A coworker brought in a 3-pack of frozen natto and gave it to me as a natto challenge. I threw out the fishy packets and added dark shoyu sauce on mine.

No problem. I was expecting something really weird.

@pkemner So was I. After all the talk about it, I expect something much stronger. It wasn't mild but nothing to make a fuss over. The look was a bit off-putting, I didn't notice the strong smell you read about.

I don't think I will buy more. It's probably something you need to grow up with. But I wouldn't turn it down if it was offered to me.
