In Vienna, where I will take the night train to Braşov in Romania. Visited the Albertina Modern museum. Not too large, which is great. Exhibition focusing on diversity. Now having goulash and beer at Cafe Hawelka. Then possibly cake. #Interrail
There was #Gulaschsuppe and then #Apfelstrudel. Beer and then lemonade. #CaféHawelka #Wien #Vienna
There was some sightseeing to do.

In my vagon de dormit. Single but two beds are made up, I can use them both! #Interrail

Let’s hope the promised dining car (until Budapest) is present.

And we’re off, exactly on schedule.

Now the question is, do I dare leave some (as such not very valuable, but still would be silly to lose clothes) stuff in my compartment to go and have a glass of wine in the dining car? (The expensive stuff I take with me.)
Went to the (Hungarian) @diningcar and had nice celery soup and Hungarian Chardonnay. Lots of the things on the menu were actually not available. Sadly there were very few customers. This dining car can’t be a very good business for MÁV Utasellátó. #Interrail
@diningcar Hungarian passport control and customs check done in Lőkösháza. Romanian will follow shortly in Curtici.
@tml I can imagine 99% of people here just use trains for short travels, so no eating or sleeping. Which kind of explains your experience. Sorry to hear it, still :-)
