If you're on #Android, and unsatisfied with search results from any of your favorite @openstreetmap app(s), there's a companion app called
"Acastus Photon" that improves the search experience, based on #Komoot's Photon geocoder, featuring search-as-you-type experience.

The POI is shared as a geo intent in Android, and can be opened by supported apps, or you can change the settings and switch to Google Maps URL, which makes it convenient to share with folks who don't use #OpenStreetMap apps.
