Thankfully, the farm machinery that turned onto the road ahead of us was NOT pulling a manure spreader! #SmallFavors

I did some #TrailRunning with the #Huskies on the Lone Rock trail at UMore (Vermillion Highlands) Park today. Great weather! Nice to hit the trails before rain on Sunday turns them to mud.

(This bit was a gravel road that bisects the park; the rest is turf/dirt.)

No bunnies on this trip, but one very convenient squirrel (plus Tonttu's strength and predatory instinct) got me up to an 8 minute mile pace, UP a 5° (8.75%) slope! At the end of the run no less.

@twitchydog got some video of the end of my run. Kind of blown out highlights -- not much I could do in post-processing, so just going to run with it, so to speak.

Bright orange is helpful in rural Minnesota when you never know what small animals are in season to get blown away this time of year: snipe, timberdoodles, etc. But also these particular tights were the perfect weight for the temps! Too warm for the winter weights.
