@nixCraft It’s strange how my nostalgia for this era of the Linux desktop grows fonder. Running older #Linux distributions in a modern day VM is super difficult. Not to mention how difficult it was on hardware back in the 90s.

@adacosta @nixCraft I can get behind themeing somwthing like XFCE to look like windows XP. That's kinda fun. But for the love of God, don't actually run the old software!

@codemonkeymike @nixCraft I run vintage operating systems all the time, not for productive use, but just to look back at play with. I have an assortment vintage Macs and VirtualBox vms for Windows NT 3.1, 95, 2000. All in good fun.
