The utterly disgusting thing is that now, most of the governments from both europe and the anglosphere are going to take this as an acceptable apology and will buy into
the 'it was a mistake' tale, even if they know perfectly well that it wasn't (I mean, Israel keeps committing mistakes like this pretty much weekly, it's not even subtle since a long long long time ago)
