Didn’t your great gramma have a scarf on her head and struggle with English? Wasn’t her husband a day laborer in the time when European immigrants were last hired first fired? Didn’t they come here with nothing but hope and work themselves to death so you could prosper?

The USA is a nation of immigrants, and as a dual national with US citizenship I'm an example of that. It's also, lately, a nation of hypocrites, as is the UK/France and every other western democracy crying 'too much immigration!'

The loathsome orange guy himself owes his own existence as an American to his grandfather having dodged the draft and then having gotten banished from Bavaria.
