The hydraulic system broke, we landed safely and are now being towed but it’s never a pleasant experience when a pilot has to say “don’t panic”.

@Gargron Might have also been a maintenance issue. Even if Boeing had no flaws, a lot of those systems need to be kept maintained

@cypnk @Gargron Maybe Airbus is just more resilient, or its MEL (Minimum Equipment List) is written more craftily. I heard from a 'bus driver that one time they flew a revenue flight on one alternator. It is allowed, because APU can be run in flight.
