Amazing how long the leds and sensor have lasted on a single charge.

Many a child and grown up has been enamoured with the little doors and lights. It’s humbling. Even my friends don’t know it’s me 😅

it’s getting lighter, sprouting greens shouldn’t be trampled on

Who knows? Till next winter?

This project, which I thought was just for one season is in danger of becoming a staple. I love how people are looking forward to returning but I think they will retire.

What are your thoughts on this?

@MaaikeV

Aww, that's lovely!

Reminds me a little bit of #DinkyDoors in Cambridge (they don't have any Blinkenlights though)

@MaaikeV

This project is super rad! Hows it powered and what sensor are you using?

I hope to make a tiny buddist temple one of these days.
I have a little prayer chant device I got cheap. I got stuff to mod so it turns on/off, maybe even with volume modulation every few hours during the day.
I was planning on using a solar panel and a lipo, but if a couple 2170s will last 6 months, maybe not. Hiding the solar panel, weatherproofing charge circuitry and long wires is a hassle 'n kinda sketch

@faucet

Thank you so much! Super nice to get a response like that.

Still looking for an answer? Haven’t been here for a while but I’ll post the details later today or tomorrow

@MaaikeV yeah I'd love to know :)
