A Comment on First Six Paragraphs: This very nearly allows the rise of a new conspiracy theory: Did the powerful enable advancement of the internet, and encourage public access to it, in order to destroy democracy? Was it not predictable that Average Joe, given unfettered access to limitless (and frequently erroneous and nefarious) input, would simply choose to affirm his own worst prejudices and misinformed theories?
