did you know: not only i am good at programming language design, but i also have big tits
@whitequark huh, no, I don't think I did know that...
@whitequark I wish I knew more about programming, it's such an extensive field tho, it kinda sets me back a lot couse i've never had anyway from where to start to study it.
@denchikmed @whitequark Meta: there are people in the field whom I find really attractive, but I feel really uncomfortable talking about their physical features because it feels completely inappropriate and demeaning to them — I admire them as computer scientists and engineers first of all.

@dmbaturin @denchikmed the restraint is (very sincerely) admirable. a lot of people don't and it is, Bad

i actually slightly prefer being desired physically to being desired as an engineer (for cursed burnout reasons) but i'm also a lesbian so it only works with like, women

@whitequark @denchikmed Ok, if we meet in person and I start physically desiring you, I will do it silently without telling you (since I'm a man).

But you got me thinking: I probably don't actually want to be desired physically. I like to look at people I find attractive but my relationship with physical contact is very complicated — I'd most likely refrain from it even if they offered (they don't because I'm f-ugly).

(clap... clap... clap...)
@whitequark imagining a game loading screen where this just fades in as one of the facts that goes by until the new area is ready
@whitequark Would that be top endian?
@whitequark we share one of these properties
