Just watched a fire engine salmoning on Queens Blvd (not the access road, but the highway itself). It was *awesome*. Beep beep, outta the way mf'ers!

In less awesome news, while going around one of the many trucks parked in the queens blvd "protected" bike lane, I failed to notice the flattened and very gory rat. Hopefully that comes out of my tires before I need to drag my bike inside for maintenance!

@Andres4NY Friends of mine think it was hysterical that I wiped out last year due to a banana peel in the bike lane.
