I have been testing nextcloud + tasks.org as a replacement for todoist for several hours.

Everything is fine and dandy, but there is a problem with recuriing tasks.

nextcloud on front does not support this, but from tasks.org you can create it as a recurring task. the problem is that these events in nextcloud are... treated as tasks and when I mark them as completed, they... no longer repeat themselves.

anyone have any solutions??

on the other hand, I use #vinkunja, which was the first project I tested. the only thing that annoys me is the frontend and the incomplete UI and UX. You have to remember that this is a young project - compared to Nextcloud.

but it has everything that #todoist has. + migrations.

@bobiko mignęło mi, że wcześniej pisałeś, że testowałeś Nozbe. Pamiętasz czego Ci brakowało? W tym miesiącu wejdzie update z ulepszeniami zadań powtarzalnych jak możliwość ustawienia bardziej złożonych powtarzalności i zakańczania powtarzanie po X wystąpieniach lub dacie.

I tried this too, but found that it wasn't black and white like that, the tasks would randomly repeat. I also had Thunderbird as a client, which may have helped or hindered it.

@rune It turns out that recurring tasks should be treated as .. calendar events?

I guess that will be right. until the Tasks creators manage the PR in Github and pass it on.
